Some services provided are not covered under our contract with the NHS and therefore attract charges. Examples include the following:
- Medicals for pre-employment, sports and driving requirements (HGV*, PSV etc.)
- Insurance claim forms
- Prescriptions for taking medication abroad
- Private sick notes
- Vaccination certificates
- To whom it may concern letters
The fees charged are based on the British Medical Association (BMA) suggested scales and our reception staff will be happy to advise you about them along with appointment availability.
*HGV Medicals
Please note that the Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) medical forms have now changed. If you wear glasses for driving, you will need to get the eyesight page of the medical form signed by your optician before making an appointment with the GP for the medical.
Unfortunately we will not be able to complete your medical unless this page has been signed
If you only wear glasses for reading or do not wear glasses at all, then we are able to complete the eyesight page for you.
