Some countries, i.e. Cambodia also require you to take anti-malarials, these are available as a tablet.

Some diseases have no vaccination/tablet cover so be aware, for example, of Dengue Fever, Zika, schistosomiasis and Chikungunya.

Good sources of information is www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk and https://nathnac.net/

It may not be possible to immunise you if you are going away ‘last minute’ or a ‘late booking’ holiday. Such events are not critical emergencies and you should obtain immunisation advice by contacting either BA Travel on 0845 600 2236 or MASTA on 01159475498

Please be aware that we only offer NHS vaccinations for travel.

These include;

  • Polio (given as a combined diphtheria/ tetanus/polio/
  • Typhoid
  • Hepatitis A
  • Cholera
  • MMR (measles)

Once you have been seen at a travel clinic you can book in for any NHS vaccinations. You must bring with you your documentation from the travel clinic and book a 20 minute appointment with one of our nurses.
